Perfect getaway spot!
We had an amazing time! The room was super spacious and better than expected. Breakfast was really tasty, especially the presentation. The staff was super friendly and attentive. Just a bit noisy at night with outside sounds, but didn't ruin our stay. Def gonna recommend this place for a chill time in Filey!

A beautifully presented stay! Exceptionally clean with a decor that resonates warmth, the breakfast here is outstanding, offering high-quality ingredients. My room was steadfast in comfort and amenities with lovely little extras. The only minor hiccup was the occasional noise from plumbing. But the generous hospitality makes one forget all!

Comfortable room and great breakfast.
Parking is a nightmare! We spent over an hour circling the area, trying to find a spot close enough to the hotel. The inconvenience was exacerbated by the lackluster help from the staff, who seemed indifferent to our struggles. After finally getting a spot, we found the experience just added stress to our vacation, which should have been relaxing.

athol house bed & breakfast is a gem! the room was so warm and comfortable, and every corner was spotless. it’s just minutes from shops, gardens, and the sea. the breakfasts were truly amazing, and sam and diane's hospitality was top-notch. they even came to see my girlfriend's gig, which made us feel special!

Delicious Breakfast and Friendly Hosts
I had a wonderful two-night stay in a Standard King Room. The breakfast was outstanding, featuring a delicious full English with fresh ingredients, and the hosts were incredibly welcoming, making me feel right at home. The room was immaculate and cozy, creating a perfect ambiance for relaxation after exploring the beautiful nearby beach. My only suggestion would be the addition of a mini fridge in the room for added convenience.
